Introduction π§βπ»
Hi, my name is Jimmy.
Anyway, this is my third attempt at blogging. The previous two didn't last very long, and they were hosted on some free blogging websites. However, I'm thrilled with how my website has turned out, and I hope it motivates me to blog more consistently. To be honest, it feels less like a traditional blog and more like a platform for me to share my thoughts and vent a bit. If you're wondering about the title and questioning why it's Day Zero instead of Day One; it's just more aesthetically pleasing to me.
Having this platform to discuss my progress, share my daily experiences, or just vent is genuinely refreshing. I excelled in writing during my upbringing, so I'm ecstatic to embark on this blogging journey! The main purpose of this blog is to make it easier for me to look back on my progress and see how much I've grown both mentally and physically.
Other Sections on My Website:
- Photos: A collection of my favorite photos or art that I come across randomly. A place to showcase visual inspiration and moments that resonate with me.
- Recent Tracks: Get a glimpse into my mood and musical preferences by checking out the tracks I'm currently listening to. Stalk my musical journey and discover new tunes along the way.
- Setup: An inside look at my setup.
- Anime/Shows: Self-explanatory section for all the anime and shows I'm currently into. Expect casual updates as I explore new series and revisit old favorites.
Health is wealth πͺπΌπ₯
On June 27, I began working out again after a period of roughly 1-2 years without going to the gym. During that time, I started bulking and went from weighing 140lb to 185lb. Now, I'm contemplating pushing further to 220lb before embarking on a cutting phase to reach 200lb.
Frankly, I'm tired of being skinny, but becoming "thicc" has its downsides too β none of my clothes fit anymore! It's frustrating; I went from wearing a size medium to now having to consider extra-large.
Despite these concerns, the gym has become the highlight of my days. I've been consistently at it for around 23 days, with only 3 rest days. I'm not sure if that's entirely healthy, but I'm motivated, and going to the gym no longer feels like a chore; I genuinely enjoy it. I've even started focusing on my legs, an area I've neglected for years due to unwarranted fear, which I partly attributed to my weak back. However, I've been pushing myself, and now my legs are starting to look toned β although they might still resemble chicken legs.. they're toned chicken legs now! Nevertheless, I'm happy with my progress and excited to continue my journey towards 220lb.

Additionally, I've been toying with the idea of picking up a DSLR camera to pursue my interest in photography. My friend, Ven, insists that his iPhone camera is good enough and can serve the same purpose. However, I've always dreamt of having a DSLR; since childhood, I would eagerly play with my cousins' cameras whenever they were around me. If I do get one, aside from Milo (my corgi), I'm not entirely sure what else I would photograph.
On another note, I have a collection of logos for "somebody's problem," and someone suggested that I turn it into stickers and even a clothing brand. I must admit, I've designed logos and clothing countless times, but I've never taken the leap to actually print them.. this might be the first! These logos look soooooo good. (I might be biased here) Oh, and by the way, the website's name originated from the Morgan Wallen song β it's an excellent song, by the way. I'd love to attend his performance in Houston in a couple of months! While we're on the topic of performances, Drake and Yellowcard are also on my list of artists to see.
Thank you π§Έπ€
But I digress; if you've read this far, thank you for investing your time. I genuinely appreciate each and every one of you, whoever you may be.
